Our Handmade soaps are all natural. Our ingredients are shea butter, coconut, palm and oil live with fragrance and/or essential oil. The misconception is "soap is soap", however that could not be further from the truth. Most commercial soaps, if not , all are made from animal fats. Animal fats stay on top of your skin, clogging the pores, preventing any nutrients from penetrating the skin absorb moisture. Our skin is the largest organ of our body, therefore, whatever we put on the skin, affects the appearance of our skin. Our soap, which contains no animal fats, will richly moisturize your skin, leaving it feeling soft, subtle and glowing. It is essential for healthy skin to absorb and maintain moisture to stay young looking and healthy.
Handmade by Tim and Lisa DeHaas, these soaps are of premium quality, using only the finest ingredients, exotic oils, beautifully scented and colored. The soaps are all natural, no animal fats, nor chemicals. You will find a wide array of fragrances of which to choose.
Joyce (Lisa'a Mother) has been making soap since 1995. Lisa has developed a passion for this quite by accident and has been in love with soap ever since. Soaps are handmade in small batches using the "Cold Process", a time-honored mode, requiring a human hand. Fine-tuning assures premium quality. In addition, the soaps are cut with a handmade cutter made by Norm, Joyce's husband.
In May 2013, Joyce sold Mountain Meadows Soap to her daughter and Son-in-law, Tim and, Lisa DeHaas and moved Mountain Meadows Soap to Howard, PA, Lisa's home.
